I have to admit that I’ve been putting off the onset of Autumn. Every time I saw a “last days of summer” post on Instagram, I secretly wanted to unfollow the culprit, and that was all the way back at the start of August! Let us enjoy the season we’re in people! But, I’m finally starting to see some pieces that are encouraging me that Autumn isn’t so bad after all. I think over the past year, I’ve really felt a shift in my shopping habits. I’ve wanted to buy less, and to invest in better pieces that I’ll wear again and again. But that doesn’t meant that you have to spend a fortune. Whilst some of my most worn pieces of the year have been on the more expensive side – these Giuseppe Zanotti heels and that Jacquemus dress – others have been from the high street. I’m a big believer in buying pieces that you’ll continue to wear in different ways. Take these vests for example. I’ve worn them with everything from jeans for a day at the office, to a long jacquard skirt for a fashion week opening party. So here’s my new season edit. As always, it’s neutral and as always you can mix and match to create chic, wearable looks season after season.
