Sometimes it’s nice to get a little dressed up in the daytime, but I still want to be comfortable and warm so this is a great neutral outfit that fits the bill. I’ve had this silk shirt from Amanda Wakeley for a couple of seasons, and it became part of their signature collection because it’s just so versatile. I’ve worn it as a floaty top, over swimwear on the beach, and wrapped tightly around the waist, like in this look. The coat is from Bimba and Lola (sadly it’s sold out, but this is a gorgeous similar style) and it’s the perfect oversized style to throw over any outfit. I love the huge scale with a short skirt, but it also looks great with light denim and winter whites. The boots are a favourite pair from PROF which I’ve been wearing all winter (worn here, and similar style here) and the bag is Aspinal’s super sweet hat box style, which is finally back in stock so snap it up quickly.

To accessorise, I layered up a couple of pieces that I’ve been wearing constantly recently – a Sif Jakobs crystal S necklace with a couple of Kirstin Ash necklaces. The long chain is a bespoke piece in rose gold with S and C initial tags (ahhh!), and the neckerchief is actually a pocket square that I borrowed from Carl. The hat makes me feel like a matador, and the sunglasses are just my current favourites – a little edgy, but glam, and super wearable.
