Last week I was back in one of my favourite cities in the world… Paris. As I mentioned here, it was a super quick trip – just 36 hours in the city of lights but I was planning on making the absolute most of it. After a late night I collapsed into bed at Hotel Lumen and fell into a deep sleep until morning, when I woke up with the sunrise (thankfully not too early at this time of year!)
When we’d checked in to the hotel the afternoon before I’d spotted that our room had a beautiful long balcony with views stretching across to the Louvre in the distance so I grabbed a cashmere cardigan and my new teddy coat, and threw them over my nightdress to step out into the sunshine to take in the view. I’m loving this cosy style of coat at the moment, and it looks just as fab over frayed kick flare jeans and a basic white tee as it does over a chunky knit dress and thigh high boots (these are my current faves!) or these mega 70s style sandals that I’m wearing at any opportunity at the moment!
