This year has absolutely flown by, and with December upon us it’s definitely party time! I started the festive season in style on 1st December with Smythson’s Most Wonderful Time of the Year party at Brown’s Hotel and the invites just keep on coming… so how to survive the busiest month of the year…? Well this festive season I’m relying on little black velvet party dresses (check out my pick of the bunch below) and a super speedy hair styling secret for bouncy blowdry-style volume in minutes, and it’s all thanks to Remington’s new Keratin Radiance range. I recently discovered their Volume Brush and to say my hair styling has been transformed is an understatement, so when Remington asked if I’d like to use the range to create a Christmas party post I was even more thrilled to tell you all about it. I love the look of a big bouncy blow-dry but my hair just never holds the style. It ends up fluffy, flyaway and a little disappointing, so I always end up reaching for the velcro rollers, but this little wonder tool gives beautiful volume from root to tip in seconds. After washing and conditioning with my favourite shampoo and conditioner, I applied a little hair serum and some volume boosting mousse, before blasting my hair with the Keratin Radiance Dryer. The keratin and macadamia oil coated vents leave hair magically conditioned for shiny, radiant results. Next up was my new desert island item, the Keratin Radiance Volume Brush. Featuring advanced ceramic coated plates, also infused with keratin and macadamia oils, the brush helps strengthen and protect whilst you style. I like to hold the brush at the top of my hair for a couple of seconds for a root lift boost, before wrapping the ends around the barrel for an effortless bouncy style that lasts for a good day or two (so you’ll look just as good the morning after the night before!) Throw on this jacket for an added edge and you’ll have the party season sussed.
