Lexington Street, Soho
Homemade black choker / similar
London Fashion Week has been a glorious blur of shows, presentations, meetings, shoots, street style and dodging rain clouds… It may be busy and our feet may hurt (although not in these boots) but it’s a time of year I love. It’s amazing that this hive of fashionable activity is bustling in the heart of Soho, and yet even just one street away the city is carrying on as always, with tourists, deliveries and traffic jams. I spent the week in the thick of it, based at The Apartment, a kind of heavenly hangout for bloggers where naughty snacks are plentiful, and there are hairstylists, makeup artists and photographers all on hand to tend to us very lucky girls! I paired an outfit of autumnal tones and textures (this Aspinal bag… heart eye emoji!) with my fashion week essential – this reusable fill&go bottle from Brita which I picked up (along with a cupcake) at The Apartment. I remember Brita from my childhood when we’d have a jug on the table at dinnertime at my grandparents house, so it’s great to have a new partner to keep hydrated whilst on the go. The bottle contains a MicroDisc filter which lasts about one month and it reduces the levels of chlorine, and those taste-impairing nasties that fill tap water, leaving you with freshly filtered water for the day ahead, whether that’s heading to the office or strutting along Brewer Street in this fabulous emblazoned jacket for the street style photographers…
