Salinas is one of the first beaches I went to in Ibiza. We were staying on our friend’s pretty sizeable motor boat so we moored up in the height of summer and the captain took us ashore in the tender for sunset cocktails. Having always been an olive skinned sun worshipper, I managed to develop a seriously uncomfortable heat rash and was, for the first time, desperate to get out on the sun, but we’d left all our phones on the boat and with no means of contacting the captain I had to return to the boat in an kids electric whale shaped vessel… Not quite the super glam exit I was hoping for! Luckily this visit to Salinas was a little more relaxed… We had a long lazy lunch at Sa Trinxa and an even lazier snooze on the beach, before taking a walk to the rock pools for a paddle amongst the sealife. I’m loving this playsuit from the dreamy beachwear brand, Paloma Blue. The founder, Ariana, has created a perfect collection of easy to wear, simple styles in the most gorgeous printed silks. The playsuit is the perfect thrown on piece for over a bikini and I intend on living in the printed silk shorts on my travels this summer.
