Memo:
This weekend we were back in Stockholm for a party that Martin was hosting at Rosendals Trädgård (a seriously dreamy venue – think candlelit boho greenhouse set amongst the flowerbeds of a gorgeous garden centre). The forecast was perfect so we left our curtains open at Hotel Diplomat on Friday night and woke up to beaming sunshine on Saturday morning. It was my first opportunity to wear this gorgeous little sundress, and I threw a jacket over my shoulders to keep off the morning chill. We decided to make the very most of the day and set off on a boat tour of the archipelago on a gorgeous traditional ship built in 1906. We were soon out of the city, and soaking up the sun whilst picking out our dream homes. After a couple of hours out at sea, we headed back to land for lunch on the terrace at Café Linné, before strolling over to Djurgården where we wandered through the grounds of Skansen, a kind of open-air museum of Swedish architecture and buildings from around the country. We picked up a couple of ice creams cones in the tea room and made our way over to the gardens for a little afternoon “disco nap” before the long night ahead.
