This weekend Carrie took me on an amazing adventure to Marrakech as an early birthday treat. We stayed at the stunning Les Cinq Djellabas, a boutique hotel in the Palmeraie district of the vibrant North African city. Ten individual safari-style lodges are set around a tranquil swimming pool – perfect for a long weekend away to soak up the autumn sunshine, as well as some old city culture. With a wildly early start, we spent our first day lazing around the pool, feasting on fresh local salads and catching up on the new issue of Vogue. Nazanin Rose Matin is a favourite of mine for colourful printed beachwear, and this silk chiffon kaftan, with all the colours of the African desert, was perfect for a little seasonal sunshine with a shimmering South Beach bikini.
