Memo:
After Carrie and Russell’s stunning wedding weekend, we flew home and it was back to reality. Well not quite reality – it was the last couple of days of London Fashion Week – so I was thrown straight into a whirlwind of street style snappers, and meetings with PRs, journalists and photographers. Amongst the madness, I managed to meet up with one of my very best friends, Pips, to take in the most incredibly chic exhibition in honour of Louis Vuitton. Series 3 “invites visitors to discover Nicolas Ghesquière’s inspirations for his fourth ready-to-wear show as the Artistic Director for women’s collections at Louis Vuitton”, but the exhibition is just so much more. An interactive, Instagram-worthy collection of rooms display not only the beautiful collection, but the design, development and awe-inspiring technology behind the brand. With the silhouette tunnel, a myriad of mirrors, an accessories room with sunglasses-inducing blinding light, and French artisans hard at work making my current dream bag, the Petite Malle, it’s a must-see. Get in there quick – it’s only on until 18th October 2015, but with free tickets (and some rather handsome tour guides) there’s no reason not to go.
