I must admit, I wasn’t too keen on leaving the sunny warmth of Ibiza but our return to London was glorious! We fully intended on making the very most of the sunshine by spending as much time outdoors as possible. We packed up a picnic and strolled across Chelsea Bridge to find a little patch of heaven in Battersea Park. Sipping on Provençal rosé and tucking into all kinds of delicious cheeses and prosciutto, we chatted and giggled whilst taking silly selfies. After a wander around the park, we crossed the river and stopped by Chelsea Physic Garden. The grounds of this beautiful walled garden are just stunning. We explored the pathways of flora and fauna, serenaded by a group of musicians, spotting bees and dragonflies along the way, before lying out on the grass in the dwindling sunshine. A perfect evening in Chelsea’s secret garden.
