On New Year’s Day we headed down to the beach to soak up the sun and play in the waves. It was soon time to catch up with friends for a new year cocktail and we all congregated at Juju’s beach bar – a little shack on the west coast with fantastic flying fish cutters and the best rum punch. After many a cocktail, fun and games ensued and the boys lined up to prove themselves in an after-dark beach sprint whilst the girls stood at the finish line to cheer them on. Of course the Viking Carl won and after the adjudicator’s ruling, Brian celebrated a closely contested second place with a bottle of champagne in the Caribbean sea.
