Four Seasons Hotel Spa, Hyde Park Corner, London
On Saturday morning I was woken up by a smiley face brandishing breakfast and roses for a day of surprise celebrations. The sun was shining down on us so I threw on some winter whites and we strolled through Chelsea, stopping on pretty pastel coloured streets and in the grounds of the magnificent Saatchi Gallery. Having wandered through Belgravia and Knightsbridge in the glorious sunshine we arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel on Hyde Park Corner and were whisked up to the 10th floor spa lounge for an afternoon of stunning views and some serious pampering. The Four Seasons spa is just beautiful – a little slice of serene heaven sitting right above the hustle and bustle of London – with views to match, from the reception, the spa lounge, each individual treatment room, and even the sauna. By the time we’d left the cocoons of our treatment rooms it was dark and the views were just that little bit more magical from a private balcony overlooking this beautiful city.
