Memo:
My big sister is my bestie, and now we’re not living together anymore (sob!), we make sure we schedule at least one weekly catch up to talk boys, business and future plans. This week we headed to the newly opened Smack Lobster. Sitting just off Oxford Street between Selfridges and Bond Street, it’s “the naughty little sister of Burger & Lobster”. With a simple menu of the tastiest brioche lobster rolls and the crispiest courgette fries, it is sure to be the perfect post-shopping retreat. Carrie tried out the Mexican – a smokey mix of lobster, chipotle, mayonnaise, peppers and corn, and I couldn’t resist the cheekily named Happy Ending – a perfectly balanced flavour sensation of sweet lobster, zingy japanese mayonnaise, fish sauce, crunchy shredded napa cabbage and coriander. Upstairs, Sicilian lemonade is pulled from beer pumps, but venture downstairs and you’ll be greeted by a copper bath full of beer, tanks of wine and even some naked ladies. Now what’s stopping you…
