Memo:
El Chiringuito is my favourite place for lunch in Ibiza. After a heavy couple of days and nights it’s the perfect place for a relaxed Sunday lunch. We started off with the usual plates of jamon Iberico, pan tomate and padron peppers as well as a super light and fresh yellowtail sashimi with summer truffle and Japanese lemon dressing, beef carpaccio, fish soup and their famous roast chicken (it was Sunday and we were Brits abroad…). Robert “The Oyster Man” soon came over to entice us but with a few sore heads around the table Carl was the only one brave enough to try the “kill or cure” medicine. Before long, the fuzzy heads were lifting and we decided it was time for a cocktail. The best place in the area has to be Experimental Beach Club. Taking pride of place at Cap D’es Falco, the chilled out beach club serves the very best cocktails and has the most amazing views of Es Vedra, which just get better and better as the sun starts to set and the barman keeps the drinks flowing. Another heavenly day in Ibiza…
