Back in the day, my Daddy used to run a racing team. Mummy would sit on the pit wall with her stopwatch and get the final say when it came to lap times, and when the drivers went out to learn the track she’d sit in the back of the car…knitting. Motoring, alongside fashion (and always being right), is definitely in the blood, so when Ford invited Sarah and I to spend the weekend at Goodwood Revival last weekend I couldn’t wait! We were whisked out to West Sussex on Saturday, with time to try out a couple of vintage motors before getting ready for the Goodwood Revival Ball. Now I’ve been to some pretty special parties over the years, but this was truly spectacular. We were greeted on arrival by a couple of vintage planes, twisting and diving before flying low over the grounds and pulling up for photo ops with the perfectly timed sunset as a backdrop. The Atlantis themed ball was just incredible. The most amazing set design, a delicious surf and turf dinner and enough wine to sink Atlantis. We made friends with princes, playboys and drivers, which was a nice coincidence the next day when our new friends won the RAC TT Celebration race. A huge thank you to Sarah and to Ford for such an amazing weekend!
