Troutbeck, Lake District
After a busy couple of weeks in London and an upcoming summer of weekends away we decided to escape the city and head up north. Pulling through the gates and heading up the long winding drive to the house seemed like a world away from London life. The sun was shining, as it always does up north, so we lit up the barbie, knocked up some homemade guacamole, poured some lethally delicious gin and tonics and sat back, smiled and relaxed whilst admiring that beautiful view that a photo could never do justice… I originally bought this sweet little broderie anglaise dress for Coachella but with the searing heat of the desert it never made an appearance so I pulled it on for the English sunshine with suede booties and a parka to keep the chill off.
