After a long night following Housekeeping at Blue Marlin, the only place to be on Sunday was El Chiringuito. It's one of my favourite places to spend the day in Ibiza. Super chilled, with amazing cocktails, the most delicious local menu, and all in a beautiful setting on Es Cavallet beach. The boys had booked a big table which we piled high with sangria, coconut water mojitos, pina coladas and plate upon plate of delicious food. A long lunch managed to revive us and the hysteria continued as we regaled stories from the night before... mostly involving losing our voices, items of clothing and dignity...! We retired to the beach for a well-earned nap before reluctantly saying our goodbyes and heading to the airport. The next trip is already booked and I can't wait!

The girls and I just got back from the most hilarious weekend in Ibiza. I literally don't think I stopped laughing for 3 days and 3 nights. Being a quick trip, and Katie's first time on the island, we were determined to fit as much in as possible... Pacha, El Chiringuito, Cipriani, Lio, Pacha, Blue Marlin, El Chiringuito... Ok, so we had a couple of repeats on the trip, but how can you not when you find yourself in the DJ booth at world famous Pacha. (Our apologies go out to John Digweed for asking if he DJs as a hobby... Oops! I blame it on the bellinis at Cipriani...) On Saturday we headed back to Blue Marlin for Housekeeping's monthly party, and one of the most fun and memorable days of the summer... so far! There'll be more from Ibiza this week, and a couple more return trips planned for later this summer. I can't wait already!

Flower Power

Curzon Street, Mayfair, London

Helmut Lang black crepe jacket: style and steal
James Perse black ribbed cotton vest: style and steal
Missguided blue printed trousers: style and steal
Christian Louboutin black patent leather Pigalle stilettos: style and steal
ASOS black sunglasses: style and steal

One of the reasons why I'm so happy I started The Style Memo is that occasionally it pushes me slightly out of my comfort zone. These brightly coloured printed trousers are so not my usual style but I spotted them whilst on an online trawl recently and fell in love. Online they were styled super casually, with a white vest and flat slides, but to make them a little more me I only saw them paired with all black and super high heels. A black jacket is a wardrobe staple and this version from Helmut Lang is a true winner. The shoulders are sharp and the waist fitted but the stretch crepe fabric makes it super soft, comfy and travel friendly - perfect for dressing up on the go.

Miss Pink

Although I'm generally devoutly monochrome, when the sun comes out I feel the urge to buy something cute and colourful. This little playsuit is exactly that and will work just as well dressed up with heels for date night as it will on the beach over a bikini. Last week we headed to one of my favourite kinds of restaurant - a cute little neighbourhood bistro with a seasonal, frequently changing menu. I always seem to be a bigger fan of the starters on a menu so I love to order a big selection to share (it also means I get to try more and since I'm a little piglet that suits me just fine). We headed to Goode and Wright and piled up the table with charred courgette with feta and truffle honey, Devon crab with parmesan baked squash and passion fruit, foie gras with toasted brioche and a mini glass of Anjou, East London Hansen & Lydersen smoked salmon and some seriously naughty triple cooked chips with the tastiest crab mayonnaise. All suitably delicious! Although the best was saved until last... Dark chocolate mousse with salted caramel ice cream and honeycomb... Yum!
